The system of dosimetry in vivo

Device developed by our company allows different transducers to carry out dosimetry (radiation dose detection) and oximetry (oxygen content detection) in living tissues. This device can be made portable and this characteristic makes it easy to use.

Device for dosimetry.

Detection of the radiation dose in human by the use of the EPR spectroscopy. Basic advantages: this method is noninvasive (without intervention into human internals), absolutely harmless, allows to detect the radiation dose obtained by a person in field conditions, allows to make screening of the big groups of people.

This technology measures the EPR signal amplitude from irradiated teeth (from paramagnetic spins – radicals in adamantine substance of tooth). Here the main parameter is EPR signal amplitude that is proportional to paramagnetic spins concentration, which appears under the influence of the radiation.

Current state: theoretical and technical development of whole device was made; new magnetic system of helmet type was calculated and this will make our device more mobile.

Device for oximetry.

Measurement of the oxygen content in living tissues of human. Basic advantages: this method is absolutely harmless, allows to measure oxygen content in human tissues in field conditions, allows to make screening of the big groups of people.

This technology is based on measurements of the width of EPR line from LiPc which is inside of the implanted resonator and contains greater concentration of radicals.

Current state: theoretical and technical development of whole device was made; new compact magnetic system was calculated and this will make our device more mobile.
